JEDDAH — The winter season in Saudi Arabia will end on March 21, according to Hussein Al-Qahtani, spokesman of the National Center of Meteorology (NCM). He said rain will continue to experience in most regions of the Kingdom with the entry of the second quarter of the winter season. This will be accompanied by snowfall, hail, and low temperatures in the northern regions. He said that temperatures have not yet dropped below zero. Meanwhile, Aqil Al-Aqeel, a meteorological analyst at NMC, stated that there is a possibility for snow to fall in the northern regions, starting Wednesday. Speaking to the Al-Ekhbariya channel, Al-Aqeel said light to moderate rains are expected in the Riyadh region by the end of the week, with the temperature would continue its drop, ranging between 4-7 degrees Celsius.
