French Presidency (Elysee) announced Monday new government following latest legislative election results, in which President Emmanuel Macron and party lost parliament majority. In a statement, the Elysee displayed the newly appointed cabinet with Elisabeth Borne at the helm. The government is comprised of various parties all in favor of political rejuvenation. The cabinet reshuffle included appointing Olivier Véran, former Health Minister as government spokesperson, and Francois Braun was named Health Minister instead. A number of ministers remained in place including Interior Minister Gerald Darmanin, Finance Minister Bruno Le Maire and Foreign Minister Catherine Colonna. President Macron is set to meet later on Monday with the new members in a cabinet meeting. — Agencies
