Heathrow Airport authorities announced on Monday that it has requested all airlines to decrease flights by 10 percent as passengers' luggage pile up due to technical error. Spokesperson on behalf of the airport commented in press statement that the error occurred in luggage dispersing system in terminal two, thus causing hundreds of travel cases to accumulate over the past two days, adding that they are working to fix the error. The spokesperson called on passengers to check with their airlines to see whether their flight has been cancelled. Hundreds of travelers coming to Heathrow Airport over the weekend had to wait for more than three hours for their luggage, without receiving word about the cause of the delay. This comes at a time where rail unions readying for a strike, set to take place on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, a move expected to paralyze transport in London and outside of it. — Agencies
