A delegation from the UAE Embassy in Riyadh Saturday concluded its five-day visit to Jazan Region as part of cooperation and exerted efforts to enhance cooperation aspects and discuss investment and economic opportunities available within the region. Chairman of the Jazan Chamber Ahmad Abo Hadi noted that the visit included the most important commercial, agricultural and tourist landmarks in the region and is part of confirmation of the solid relations between Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, mainly in supporting the investment movement between the two countries and holding joint meetings between businesspeople of the two sides in a bid to provide required information to support both countries' plans in this regard. He also referred to what Jazan enjoys of comparative elements and advantages that are considered among the top factors that help open wide investment aspects in all industrial, tourist, agricultural and commercial fields, which requires enhancing commercial and investment exchange through adopting more attractive incentives for investments and increasing communication among investors through encouraging exchanged visits to check on available opportunities in the region. For his part, Head of the Commercial Relations at the Emirati Embassy Mohammed Al-Qahtani stressed the importance of the visit that was paid upon directives by Emirati Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Sheikh Nahyan Bin Saif Al Nahyan to get acquainted with the comparative elements and advantages of Jazan Region and other regions Saudi Arabia in a way that supports joint interests between the two countries and their development policies, mainly transition plans toward a competitive and diversified economy based on know-how and innovation. Meanwhile, Jazan Chamber Secretary General Dr. Majid Al-Johari reviewed the chamber's efforts and endeavors to offer all necessary facilities and information, calling on all to benefit from investment opportunities available in Jazan, mainly in the industrial, tourist, agricultural, educational and health sectors, in addition to transferring Emirati expertise and initiatives to the region in a bid to enhance the strategic partnership concept in the business sector between the two sides. — SPA
