Licensed food contractors have offered around 1.3 million iftar meals for fasting people over the first 10 days of Ramadan, under the supervision of the Agency of the General Presidency for the Affairs of the Prophet's Holy Mosque. Employees of various stakeholders and volunteers devote their efforts to organize the entry and exit of worshippers through the mosque's gates and yards. They ensure the flow of movement through main and secondary routes inside the mosque and at the Holy Rawdah, in addition to following up on offering the iftar service and cleaning. The first 10 days of Ramadan witnessed distribution of more than 1.258 million bottles of Zamzam water to worshippers, in addition to filling 14,000 Zamzam water containers three times a day and distributing them across the mosque. The agency throughout the first 10 days of Ramadan implemented 510 tours to clean and sterilize the mosque before and after every prayer, as part of a fixed work program for maintaining the cleanliness of the Prophet's Mosque. This was in addition to implementing 220 incensing tours before and after prayers, which are carried out by a specialized team with the use of the finest types of oud. More than 6 million worshippers have performed prayers at the Prophet's Mosque during the first 10 days of Ramadan. The number includes the five prayers and the Qiyam prayer. More than 298,000 people performed prayers at the Holy Rawdah after bookings made through the accredited applications. — SPA
