The General Presidency for the Affairs of the Grand Holy Mosque and the Prophet's Holy Mosque has intensified its services during the first 10 days of the holy month of Ramadan through adopting a comprehensive service system that works round the clock, where the presidency is keen on intensifying sterilization, cleaning, operation, transport, vehicles inside the mosque, opening the gates of the mosque, organizing entry and exist, identifying courses for people with disabilities, distributing Zamzam water bottles to praying areas, Tawaf (circumambulation area), parks, and visitors. The presidency also intensified the watering services for visitors and worshippers through distributing 8 million liters of Zamzam water through 3 million one-use bottles, 25,000 Zamzam water containers via 250 back-bags and 58 smart carts with a capacity of 80 liters and 33 special carts for circumambulation courses with a capacity of 100 bottles. The transport services administration increased its preparedness to serve visitors of the Grand Holy Mosque through providing more than 5,000 normal carts and 3,000 electric carts for beneficiaries of Umrah performers and visitors of the mosque to facilitate the transport of worshippers and Umrah performers. The presidency has recruited more than 100 monitors at the gates of the Grand Holy Mosque for receiving worshippers and guiding them to the right places, organizing the entry and exit of worshippers, and guiding worshippers to places of praying areas, where more than 100 gates have been opened.
