JEDDAH — A mathematician, economist and financial consultant, Dr. Manahil Thabet, has been granted Saudi citizenship recently in consideration of her scientific and research achievements. Saudi Arabia's landmark decision to grant citizenship to high-skilled foreign professionals is aimed at picking those having the best, most beneficial and useful expertise and distinguished talent so as to contribute to achieve the nation's ambitious goals and developmental needs. Dr. Thabet expressed her happiness and pride, after obtaining Saudi citizenship, through a tweet on Twitter. "I have the honor to extend my highest thanks and appreciation to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz and His Highness, Crown Prince Muhammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, may God protect them, for granting me the Saudi citizenship," she said. "From here, I stand in hearing and obedience to a solid march and an extended tender for a homeland that fills us with pride, honor and belonging," she added. Dr. Manahil Abdul Rahman Thabet is considered one of the great geniuses in the world, and she the first Arab to be awarded the title of "Genius of the Year" in The World Genius Dictionary in 2013. When she received the Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum Award for Educational Performance in Dubai, and in an interview with one of the Arab channels Thabet addressed herself: "I am from Yemen, and I am originally a gifted person, as my talent was recognized at the age of four, so I entered enrichment programs and academic acceleration programs." "And I graduated from high school at the age of fourteen and entered university when I was fifteen and studied economics at an American university. And I am the youngest woman in the world with a doctorate in financial engineering at the age of twenty-five." "I obtained a second doctorate at the age of twenty-eight in the field of quantum mathematics, and scientifically, the theories that I invented have been adopted in many international institutions specialized in space to measure cosmic galaxies and the speed of light transmission between them," she elaborated. Dr. Thabet was chosen as a goodwill ambassador by Eco International Art Foundation, an institution affiliated to Prince Albert II of the Principality of Monaco, and has received more than 130 international, regional and local certificates in the areas of excellence. Her name was registered among the most famous British scientists on the honor board of the British Royal Society of Medical Sciences in the British House of Lords. Dr. Thabet is an active member of important organizations such as the International Genius Society International "Mensa" and the International Foundation of Financial Engineers. She is also a member of the Young Arab Leaders and the International Association of Financial Engineers, among other organizations. She also contributes to several top Arab financial newspapers as a columnist and economic researcher. And for her distinction in the world of business and finance, she was called the Queen of Bourse, and she is the representative of Arab women in this complex and difficult field in the world of stock exchange and financial deliberations. She is currently the owner and president of the Smart Advice Consulting Company in the United Arab Emirates since 2007, in addition to being the President of the World IQ Foundation, Vice President of the World Intelligence Network (WIN), and Deputy Director of the Institute for Brain Chemistry and Human Nutrition and Vice Chancellor of The Gifted Academy.
