Korean President Moon Jae-in and his accompanying delegation visited on Wednesday one of the stations of the Riyadh Metro project. He was received at the venue by Prince Faisal bin Abdulaziz bin Ayyaf, Mayor of Riyadh Region, Saudi Investment Minister Eng. Khalid bin Abdulaziz Al-Faleh (the accompanying minister), Saudi Minister of Transport and Logistic Services Eng. Saleh bin Nasser Al-Jasser and CEO of the Royal Commission for Riyadh City Fahd bin Abdulmuhsen Al-Rasheed. The Korean President started his tour by listening to a detailed explanation on the future services of the public transport sector, including the Riyadh Metro and Riyadh Buses projects that link the capital on a network of six routes covering a total of 176 kilometers and 85 stations distributed across the city. Later, the president and his accompanying delegation toured the station and checked on its equipment, which meet the highest industry standards and latest technologies. They also saw the map that shows the routes of the Riyadh Metro project. The guests were accompanied by Samsung C&T Group CEO Oh Sechul, which is one of the companies implementing the scheme. The Riyadh Metro Project will provide a distinguished public transport service through covering areas with high population density, government facilities and commercial, educational and health activities.
