PRETORIA — The Bulls returned to the comfort of home to end the Cheetahs' record run in Super 15 rugby with a 26-20 win Saturday. Having lost their last three games away in New Zealand and Australia, the three-time champion Bulls had too much power at Loftus Versfeld and outscored the Cheetahs two tries to one. Flyhalf Morne Steyn kicked 16 points. Scrumhalf Jano Vermaak burst clear just after halftime for the first try. Replacement hooker Callie Visagie scored his new team's second on his Bulls debut, but only after Cheetahs prop Trevor Nkanyane dived over to close it to two points with seven minutes to go. — AP
