Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Enterprise, Trade and Employment of the Republic of Ireland Leo Varadkar started his tour Tuesday at the Dubai Airshow by visiting the pavilion of the Saudi General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) and the rest of the national entities working in the Saudi civil aviation sector participating in the Airshow activities. He was received by the President of GACA Abdulaziz Bin Abdullah Al-Duailej and a number of officials at GACA. The Irish Deputy Prime Minister was briefed on GACA's modern and future projects and its most prominent investments, expressing his admiration for the developments that the civil aviation sector has reached in the Kingdom. He was also briefed on the strategy of the GACA project and GACA's readiness for the next qualitative stage at the level of the aviation industry. This step follows Kingdom's launching of the National Strategy for Transport and Logistics Services, which constitutes a major and influential turning point in the civil aviation industry in the Kingdom.
