The Advanced Electronics Company (AEC), a subsidiary of the Saudi Arabian Military Industries Company (SAMI), has announced its participation in the 17th edition of the Dubai Airshow for the year 2021, to be held during the period from Nov. 14 to 18. It is taking part in the airshow based on the company's keenness on its pioneering role in the fields of defense, space and air systems at the regional level and a review of its potentials and advanced solutions. The company will provide an advanced range of solutions and technologies within its defense and aerospace business sector, including maintenance, repair, support services, solutions for command and control systems, communications and intelligence, operations center, electronic warfare products and solutions, unmanned aircraft, simulation systems, and others. AEC's platform will include several of SAMI's products specialized in the technologies of aerospace and defense electronics units, in addition to several exhibits from SAMI's Aircraft Complementary Equipment Company Limited (AACC). Also, the Saudi Airlines Group (Saudia) will participate in the Dubai Airshow and it said the event offered an ideal platform for the Saudia Group to showcase the latest comprehensive aviation services and solutions it offers to its passengers in the Middle East and North Africa. Visitors to the airshow — which is held every two years — will have the opportunity to visit the "Saudi Arabia" pavilion, which extends over an area of 250 square meters, encompassing most of its subsidiaries. The group is expected to issue statements regarding its future plans and strategic role in enabling the transformation of the Kingdom and as per the Kingdom's Vision 2030. — SPA
