He also stressed that Saudi Arabia, in the near past, managed to be a global destination and succeeded in hosting several international summits and events, whether virtually or in person.
The secretary general noted that Saudi Arabia hosting of Expo 2030 will be an opportunity for the world to benefit from its experiment in making qualitative leaps at the level of all sectors and to look closely at the future Kingdom that was the result of ambitious plans led by Crown Prince Muhammad and his sharp vision for the future.
He also said that this event embodies the entrepreneurship and status of Saudi Arabia among nations for its being the headquarters of the OIC and an investment and economic destination, in addition to its being among developed countries in the field of artificial intelligence, among others.
Dr. Al-Othaimeen noted that the Saudi citizen has a lot to offer in this international event in the fields of technology, international cooperation, economics, commerce, arts, culture and science in light of the big support of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman, president of the current OIC session, and the Crown Prince. — SPA
