The Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources received four international certificates from the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), for achieving international quality standards in technology, information security, quality management, and business continuity. The ISO certificate of institutional and administrative excellence was awarded to the ministry after the latter passed the evaluation and audit stages, including measuring the beneficiaries' satisfaction with the level of quality of services provided in the industrial and mining sectors. This is in addition to the extent to which the Ministry has adopted the latest technology and information security methods, and its keenness to automate and develop its work. ISO also granted the ministry the (ISO 22301) certificate in managing the business continuity system, which is part of the comprehensive management system, after passing the audit stages and proving its effectiveness in establishing a system for auditing, forecasting, and confronting risks, to ensure the continuity of its business under any exceptional circumstances. The Ministry also obtained the Quality Management Certificate (ISO 90001) for the implementation of standards in the quality management system, and the Information Technology Services Management Certificate (ISO 20000-1) for its application of best practices in its digital services. This is in addition to obtaining the Information Security Management System certificate (ISO 27001), for its adoption of international standards in this field, and providing all security and technical standards to protect information against any risk. — SPA
