The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) and several Arab states have strongly condemned continuous attempts by the Iranian-backed terrorists to target civilians in the southern regions of Saudi Arabia. Saudi defense forces intercepted on Sunday evening a booby-trapped drone launched by the Iranian-backed Houthi militia toward Khamis Mushait in southern Saudi Arabia, the Arab coalition fighting to restore legitimacy in Yemen announced in brief statemen. The United Arab Emirates (UAE) strongly condemned the attempts of the terrorist Houthi militias to target civilians and civilian objects in the Saudi city of Khamis Mushait with a bomb-laden drone, which was intercepted and destroyed by the Coalition Forces. The UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MoFAIC) affirmed in a statement that the continuous terror attacks by the Houthis reflect their blatant disregard for the international community and all international laws and norms. The UAE urged the international community to take an immediate and decisive stance to stop these repeated attacks that target vital and civilian facilities, the security of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and global energy supplies, stressing that the continuation of these attacks is a dangerous escalation and new evidence of these militias' attempts to undermine security and stability in the region. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs renewed the UAE's full solidarity with Saudi Arabia against these terrorist attacks and reiterated its firm position opposing any threat to the Kingdom's security and stability. The UAE also voiced support for all measures taken by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to maintain the safety and security of its citizens and residents. The statement confirmed that the security of the UAE and that of Saudi Arabia are indivisible and that any threat to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is considered a threat to the security and stability of the UAE. Meanwhile, Secretary-General of the OIC Dr. Yousef bin Ahmed Al-Othaimeen has strongly condemned the terrorist Houthi militia's failed attempt to target civilians and civilian objects in Khamis Mushait. Saying the Houthi militia's continued launching of ballistic missiles and bomb-laden drones towards civilians Saudi Arabia constituted war crimes and a blatant disregard for the international laws, norms and treaties, Dr. Al-Othaimeen reiterated the OIC's support for all measures that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia takes to confront the practices of the terrorist Houthi militia in order to preserve its security, stability and the safety of its citizens and residents. In Cairo, the Arab Parliament on Monday affirmed the pivotal role played by the countries of the Coalition to Restore Legitimacy in Yemen led by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, toward Yemen in order to end the Houthi coup, restore the legitimate state institutions, and end the suffering of the Yemeni people. In a statement, the Arab Parliament expressed its rejection of the statements of the Lebanese Minister of Information, which do not serve the political and economic conditions that Lebanon is experiencing. The Parliament pointed out that the Kingdom is the country most eager to support the Yemeni people and end their suffering and has presented many pioneering initiatives to end the Yemeni crisis.
