The Kingdom of Bahrain has strongly condemned the terrorist Houthi militia's launch of a number of drones toward the city of Jazan in Saudi Arabia. It praised the vigilance of the forces of the Coalition to Restore Legitimacy in Yemen, which were able to destroy the drones. In a statement issued by its Ministry of Foreign Affairs affirmed the Kingdom of Bahrain's solidarity with Saudi Arabia, and its full support for all the measures it takes against these attacks that target civilians and civilian objects and destabilise security and stability. Earlier, the UAE expressed its strong condemnation and denunciation of the attempts of the Iranian-backed Houthi militia systematically and deliberately targeting civilians and civilian objects in the Jazan region of Saudi Arabia. In a statement, the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation affirmed that the continuation of these terrorist attacks by the Houthi militia reflects its blatant defiance of the international community and disregard for all international laws and norms, calling on the international community to take an immediate and decisive position to stop these repeated actions that manage to target vital and civilian facilities and endanger the security of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The statement stressed that the continuation of these recent attacks are a dangerous escalation, and new evidence that this militia is seeking to undermine security and stability in the region. The statement reiterated the UAE's full solidarity with the Kingdom against these terrorist attacks, supporting all measures it takes to preserve its security and the safety of its citizens and residents. The Arab Coalition early Friday intercepted and destroyed four explosive-laden drones, one ballistic missile launched by the Iranian-backed Houthi militia targeting Jazan. The Coalition said, in a tweet carried by the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), "this hostile escalation by Houthi militia targets civilians and innocent people." -- SPA
