The Arab Coalition said its forces intercepted and destroyed an explosive drone launched by the Iran-backed Houthi militia towards Saudi Arabia's Khamis Mushayt on Sunday, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported. The Coalition to Support Legitimacy in Yemen said the continued attacks are part of the Houthi militia's systematic and deliberate hostile attempts to target civilians in the Kingdom. "The terrorist Houthi militia is gravely violating international humanitarian law by attempting to target civilians," the Coalition said in a statement carried by SPA. The United Arab Emirates (UAE) and the Kingdom of Bahrain have strongly condemned and denounced Iran-backed terrorist Houthi militia's attempts to systematically and deliberately target civilians and civilian objects last night in Khamis Mushayt city through a bomb-laden UAV that was intercepted by the Coalition Forces. In a statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, the UAE affirmed that the continuation of these terrorist attacks by the Houthi militias reflects its blatant challenge to the international community and its disregard for all international laws and norms, renewing the UAE's full solidarity with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia regarding these terrorist attacks. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Bahrain has stressed that targeting civilians and civilian facilities is a flagrant violation of international laws. The Ministry affirmed that such terrorist acts reflect the Houthi militia's insistence on continuing its attacks on the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and rejecting calls aimed at ending the war in Yemen and reaching a peaceful solution to end the suffering of the Yemeni people.
