The Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Secretary General Dr. Nayef Falah Mubarak Al-Hajraf condemned Saturday the Houthi militia's continuous launching of ballistic missiles and bomb-laden drones in a systematic and deliberate manner towards the Eastern Province, Jazan and Najran to target civilians and civilian facilities in a flagrant violation of international norms and laws. The secretary general commended the vigilance of Saudi Air Defense Forces that intercepted and destroyed three ballistic missiles and three bomb-laden drones launched by the Houthi militia on Saturday, where the interception caused debris to scatter across the (Dahyat Al-Dammam) neighborhood, which resulted in the injury of two Saudi children, and minimal damages to 14 houses. Dr. Al-Hajraf reiterated the GCC states' solidarity with Saudi Arabia against whatever targets its security, stability and territorial integrity, stressing the need for the international community to take immediate and decisive measures to stop these aggressive acts targeting civilian facilities as well as the security of Saudi Arabia. In Tunis, Cairo, Tunisian-based General Secretariat of the Council of Arab Interior Ministers condemned in the strongest terms the repeated terrorist acts carried out by Houthi militias, the latest of which was the launch of "booby-trapped" drones and a ballistic missile, towards the Eastern region and the city of Najran, which the Saudi air defenses and the coalition forces were able to intercept and destroy. The General Secretariat of the Council stressed in a statement, the need to hold accountable the perpetrators of these terrorist acts, which are heinous war crimes, and renews its absolute support for all measures taken by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to preserve its lands and facilities and the safety of its citizens and residents. In Cairo, the Speaker of the Arab Parliament Adel Bin Abdul Rahman Al-Asoumi condemned the terrorist Houthi militia's launching of booby-trapped drones in a systematic and deliberate way to target civilian objects in the Eastern region, Najran and Jazan, which were successfully intercepted and destroyed by the Kingdom-led coalition forces. In a statement today, Al-Asoumi warned against the continuation of the cowardly terrorist acts of the Houthi militia, which reflects its insistence on continuing its vicious attacks on the Kingdom, which are "war crimes", and rejecting calls to end the war in Yemen and reach a peaceful solution that ends the suffering of the Yemeni people. In Cairo, Egypt too strongly condemned and denounced the Houthi militia's attacks with ballistic missiles against the Eastern and Southern Regions of Saudi Arabia, and the militia's launching of bomb-laden drones yesterday, which were successfully intercepted and destroyed by the Coalition to Restore Legitimacy in Yemen. In a statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Egypt affirmed its support for the measures Saudi Arabia takes to confront these despicable attacks and to preserve its security, stability and territorial integrity from these terrorist acts, which represent a grave threat to the region's security and stability. The ministry stressed the close connection between the national security of the two countries. In Abu Dhabi, the UAE has strongly condemned the terrorist Houthi militias' attempts to systematically and deliberately attack civilians and civil objects in Saudi Arabia, with booby-trapped drones, which were intercepted and destroyed by the Coalition Forces' Air Defense. In a statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MoFAIC), the UAE reiterated that these terrorist attacks by Houthis reflect their blatant challenge and disregard for the international community and all international laws and norms. The ministry urged the international community to take an immediate and decisive stance to stop these hostile acts, which target critical infrastructure and threaten the security and stability of the Kingdom, as well as global energy supplies. It also stressed that the threat of these attacks in recent days is a grave escalation that represents new evidence of Houthi militias' attempts to undermine security and stability in the region. The UAE renewed its full solidarity with the Kingdom over these terrorist attacks and reiterated its stance against all threats to the Kingdom's security and stability. The UAE also reiterated its support for all measures taken by Saudi authorities to maintain the safety and security of citizens and residents. It also stressed that the security of the UAE and that of Saudi Arabia are indivisible and that any threat facing the Kingdom is considered a threat to the security and stability of the UAE. In Manama, the kingdom of Bahrain has strongly condemned the Iran-backed terrorist Houthi militia's continued attacks against Saudi Arabia, the latest of which was launching three ballistic missiles and three bomb-laden drones towards the Eastern and Southern Regions of Saudi Arabia. In a statement, the Bahraini Ministry of Foreign Affairs stressed Bahrain's full support and solidarity with Saudi Arabia in all the deterrent measures it takes to stop these terrorist attacks and to protect its territories, citizens and residents, calling on the international community to assume its responsibilities to condemn these criminal terrorist acts committed by the terrorist Houthi militia in a violation of international humanitarian law. The ministry wished all those injured a speedy recovery. In Kuwait, the State of Kuwait has strongly condemned the Houthi militia's continuous attempts to target civilians and civilian areas and threaten the security of Saudi Arabia through launching three ballistic missiles and three bomb-laden drones towards the Eastern region, Jazan and Najran in the southern part of the Kingdom. In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kuwait said that the continuation of these aggressive practices and escalation that targets the security of Saudi Arabia as well as the stability of the region, constitute a flagrant violation of the international humanitarian law. It also requires the international community to take immediate and decisive steps to deter these threats and hold the perpetrators accountable. The ministry stressed the State of Kuwait's full support for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in all measures it takes to preserve its security, stability and sovereignty. In Amman, Jordan has condemned the Houthi militia's ongoing attacks against the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and targeting of civilian areas with ballistic missiles and bomb-laden drones, the latest of which was targeting the Eastern region, Jazan and Najran in the southern part of Saudi Arabia, leaving civilians injured and causing damage to a number of houses. The spokesperson of Jordan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Haitham Abu Al-Foul affirmed Jordan's strong condemnation of these cowardly acts and the targeting of innocent civilians, which is a flagrant violation of international humanitarian law. Al-Foul stressed that Jordan fully stands by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the face of any threat to its security.
