JEDDAH — Saudi Arabia's allies have strongly condemned the continuous attempts of the Iran-backed Houthi militia to systematically and deliberately target civilians and civilian facilities in Saudi Arabia.
In a statement on Wednesday, Bahrain's foreign ministry condemned the launching of a ballistic missile toward Najran, as well as six explosive-laden drones toward Saudi territory, targeting the security of citizens and residents and their safety.
The Bahraini foreign minister commended the vigilance and efficiency of the Arab Coalition in intercepting and destroying ballistic missiles and drones.
The ministry also affirmed Bahrain's unwavering solidarity with Saudi Arabia against all that threatens its security and stability, calling on the international community to condemn these terrorist attacks that threaten the security and stability of the Kingdom.
The UAE's Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation in a statement on Wednesday stressed that the recent increase of Houthi terrorist attacks against Saudi Arabia is a dangerous escalation.
The ministry said the UAE reiterated its full solidarity with Saudi Arabia against all threats to civilians, affirming its support for all measures taken by Saudi authorities to maintain the country's security and stability.
The UAE ministry also affirmed that the security of the UAE and that of Saudi Arabia are indivisible, and any threat facing the Kingdom is considered a threat to the security and stability of the UAE.
The continuation of these attacks illustrated the danger facing the region from the Houthis, reflecting this militia's endeavor to undermine the region's security and stability, the UAE foreign ministry's statement added.
Meanwhile, the spokesman of the Jordanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Ambassador Dhaifallah Al-Fayez reiterated Jordan's condemnation and rejection of these repeated cowardly terrorist attacks.
