The President of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania Mohamed Ould Ghazouani visited the headquarters of the International Museum of the Prophet's Biography and Islamic Civilization here. He visited the headquarters, which is supervised by the Muslim World League, on Tuesday with his accompanying delegation. Director General of the Royal Protocol Office in Madinah Ibrahim Bin Abdullah Berri and the Secretary General of the Exhibitions and Museums of the Prophet's Biography and Islamic Civilization Sheikh Dr. Nasser Bin Misfer Al-Zahrani accompanied him. During his tour he was shown a number of interactive presentations on the biography of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). In addition various models of Makkah, Madinah and the Migration Route, Atlases, maps, various educational aids, and modern technical means from interactive displays were shown. The museum is equipped with the latest technologies that make visitors experience the dimensions of the Prophet's biography, historical scenes and monuments. The museum also uses VR technologies and a three-dimensional display that show many scenes, historical monuments and collectibles. The technologies show many of the scenes, historical monuments and collectibles mentioned in the biography of the prophet. They show the scenes and historical momentums in seven languages to include a wider range of visitors. The languages used are Arabic, English, Spanish, Urdu, French, Turkish and Indonesian Bahasa. The exhibition aims to represent the Holy Qur'an's message — the message being justice, peace, mercy, tolerance and moderation. It also aims to highlight the biography of the prophet and the luminous Islamic history. The exhibition relies on 350 educational methods and teaching aids, 150 evidence of the greatness of Islam and the preservation of the rights of non-Muslims, more than 500 pieces of artifacts and museums of the prophet's era.
