Prince Abdulaziz Bin Turki Al-Faisal, minister of sports and president of the Saudi Arabian Olympic Committee (SAOC), extended his congratulations and blessings to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman and Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman, deputy prime minister and minister of defense, on the occasion of the achievement made by the hero Tarek Hamdi. Hamdi, who represented Saudi Arabia in karate, won silver medal in the weight category of over 75 kilograms in the sport at the Tokyo Olympics 2020 on Saturday. In a press statement on this occasion, the minister of sports said: "I congratulate our wise leadership and the Saudi people for the great achievement of our hero, Tarek Hamdi, by winning the silver medal in karate at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics, after strong competition and difficult confrontations, with the world's most prominent stars in this game."
