AMMAN — Saudi Arabia's Foreign Minister Prince Faisal Bin Farhan met on Tuesday with Jordan's King Abdullah II at Al Husseiniya Palace in Amman. The Saudi foreign minister visited Amman to deliver a message of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman to the Jordanian king, the Saudi Press Agency reported. The message highlighted historic relations between the two kingdoms and ways to enhance joint cooperation. During the meeting, Prince Faisal and King Abdullah II reviewed the solid historic relations linking the two countries and their citizens and ways of developing them in all fields. The two sides discussed strengthening joint cooperation in many aspects, including bilateral political cooperation that supports the security and stability of the region. They also discussed the latest developments in regional and international events, and issues of common interest. The two sides discussed opportunities to increase trade exchange between the two countries, and support inter-investment in light of the Kingdom's Vision 2030, which provides many promising opportunities, especially in technology, innovation and renewable energy. The meeting was also attended by the Saudi ambassador to Jordan, Nayef Bin Bandar Al-Sudairy, and the director-general of the Office of the foreign minister, Abdul Rahman Al-Daoud.
