MAKKAH — The first batch of pilgrims completed on Saturday (Dhu Al-Hijjah 7) the ritual of Tawaf Al-Qudum (Tawaf of Arrival) with ease and comfort amid an integrated system of services and precautionary measures, the Saudi Press Agency reported. Spokesman of the General Presidency for the Affairs of the Two Holy Mosques, Hani Haidar, stated that the presidency earmarked tracks for the pilgrim around the Tawaf (circumambulation) area, facilitating them to do their rituals with ease. As many as 60 employees took part in organizing the movement of pilgrims and ensuring the maintenance of social distancing. With the unlimited support from the Saudi government, the general presidency is keen to maintain a system of distinguished and high-quality services in order to provide pilgrims with an ideal and appropriate healthy environment to perform their hajj rituals, he added.
