RIYADH — The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance, represented by the religious attaché in the embassy of Saudi Arabia in New Delhi, has distributed four tons of dates as a gift from Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman to the Indian people on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan. The distribution process took into consideration the health precautionary protocols against the novel coronavirus (COVID-19). A portion of the gift was handed over to prominent Islamic personalities and centers. A number of heads of Islamic societies affirmed that the program embodies the great efforts made by the Kingdom in serving Islam and Muslims and standing with Muslims and their causes all over the world, calling on God to preserve the Kingdom, its leadership and its people, and to keep it stable and secure. Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance is continuing with the distribution of dates in 24 countries in various continents through offices of the religious attachés and cultural Islamic centers affiliated with the ministry according to health protocols followed in each country.
