Sheikh Hafiz Mohammad Tahir Mehmood Ashrafi the chairman of Pakistani Ulema Council described the Custodian of The Two Holy Mosques Iftar program implemented by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance, as contributing to lifting the suffering of many of those in need during Ramadan. Ashrafi expressed appreciation to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince for their continuous support for the Pakistani people and the Islamic nation and serving their causes. Ashrafi made the remarks during participation in the distribution of Iftar food baskets in Lahore city to charities and families in their homes and in various cities and regions of Pakistan. He said that the Kingdom, led by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince, extends the help and generosity to all the peoples of the world, noting what the Kingdom offers in supporting projects that serve the Pakistani people, including Iftar program and distributing the gift of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques of dates and implementing various awareness programs. The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance continues to implement the project of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Iftar program in 18 countries around the world through Islamic and cultural centers and religious attachés, and in coordination with the Kingdom's embassies, Islamic centers and organizations .
