RIYADH — Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Health recorded on Sunday 367 new COVID-19 cases over the past 24 hours, 15 less than Saturday's figure of 382. The ministry announced seven more deaths over the past 24 hours from complications caused by COVID-19. This brings the total number of confirmed infections in the Kingdom to 385,020 and the virus-related fatalities to 6,609. The ministry also reported 277 recoveries over the past 24 hours, raising the total number of people free from the deadly virus to 374,412. The Riyadh region continued to record the highest number of infections with 165 cases, followed by the Eastern region with 74, and the Makkah region with 46 new infections. The remaining cases were detected in other regions of the Kingdom with six of them reporting less than 10 infections. According to the ministry, there were 3,999 active cases and 584 of them were in critical condition.
