Published in The Saudi Gazette on 01 - 03 - 2021

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) strongly condemned and denounced the Iranian-backed terrorist Houthi militia's systematic attempts to target civilians and civil objects in a number of Saudi Arabia's cities, using a ballistic missile and booby trapped drones, successfully intercepted by the Coalition forces.
In a statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation on Sunday, the UAE renewed its full solidarity with the Kingdom over these terrorist attacks and reiterated its stance against all threats to the Kingdom's security, stability, and the safety of its citizens and residents.
The statement emphasized that "the security of the UAE and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia are indivisible, and that any threat facing Saudi Arabia is considered by the UAE a threat to its security and stability."
In Doha, the State of Qatar condemned in the strongest terms the missile attack that targeted Riyadh, capital of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, considering it "a dangerous act against civilians, contravening all international norms and laws".
In a statement issued Sunday, Qatar's Foreign Ministry reiterated the Qatar's firm position on rejecting violence, criminal and subversive acts regardless of the motives behind them.
In Amman, Jordan strongly condemned the terrorist Iran-backed Houthi militia's launching of a ballistic missile toward Riyadh and bomb-laden UAVs toward Khamis Mushayt and Jazan.
The spokesman of the Jordanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Ambassador Dhaifallah Al-Fayez, affirmed Jordan's strong condemnation and denunciation of these cowardly terrorist attacks and targeting of innocent civilians, which is a flagrant violation of international humanitarian law.
Al-Fayez also affirmed that Jordan stands with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia against any threat to its security and the security of its people.
In London, the United Kingdom (UK) condemned the attacks with ballistic missiles and bomb-laden UAVs launched by the Iran-backed Houthi militia toward the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
UK Foreign Secretary Dominic Raab affirmed that the United Kingdom condemns the missile and drone attacks launched by the Houthis on the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Marib, Yemen, adding that these attacks put innocent lives at risk, and show that those responsible are not serious about peace and protection of Yemeni people. -- SPA
