RIYADH — Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Health on Monday recorded 327 new coronavirus cases over the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of confirmed infections in the Kingdom to 375,333. The ministry announced 5 more deaths over the past 24 hours from complications caused by COVID-19, taking the total number of virus-related fatalities to 6,466. The ministry also reported 318 recoveries over the past 24 hours, taking the total number of people free from the deadly virus reached 366,412. The Riyadh region continued to record the highest number of infections with 174 cases, followed by the Eastern region with 69 and the Makkah region with 31 new infections. The remaining cases were detected in different other regions of the Kingdom with nine of them reporting less than 10 infections. With the slight drop in the number of new cases, the active cases in Saudi Arabia fell to 2,455 out of which 497 were critical.
