Dr. Abdullah Bin Abdulaziz Al Rabeeah, advisor at the Royal Court and supervisor general of King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief), met here on Sunday with Pakistani Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Raja Ali Ejaz. During the meeting, Dr. Al Rabeeah briefed the Pakistani ambassador on the KSrelief's efforts to the various afflicted and needy peoples in the world. For his part, the Pakistani ambassador expressed his admiration of the KSrelief's achievements, vital role in the field of humanitarian work and noble objectives. KSrelief follows up on Cox's Bazar project In cooperation with the World Food Program (WFP) and the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) KSrelief has continued the project of rehabilitating multi-use cyclone response centers in the regions of Okiya and Teknaf in Cox's Bazar city in the Republic of Bangladesh. This comes within the framework of the continuous support, provided by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, represented by the KSrelief, to stand with refugees and needy people in all countries of the world. Dialysis Center in Al-Mahra continues to provide services In Al-Mahra, the dialysis center in Al-Mahra Governorate, Yemen, has continued providing its medical services to beneficiaries, backed by King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief). During January, 2021, the KSrelief received 84 patients and provided them with the necessary medical services. This comes within the framework of the medical projects being provided by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, represented by the KSrelief, for the patients and injured in Yemen. Project for needy families in Marawi City launched In Marawi, KSrelief launched Saturday a project to distribute 5,000 food baskets to the needy families in Marawi City, Republic of the Philippines. The inauguration ceremony was attended by representatives of the local government of Marawi, a number of officials of the Philippine Red Cross, Naif Al-Shehri, representative of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's embassy in the Philippines. The KSrelief has started to distribute 1,000 food baskets to the beneficiary families who expressed their gratitude to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This campaign comes within the framework of support being provided by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, through the Center, to secure and distribute food baskets for the most vulnerable families in Marawi City. — SPA
