King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) launched yesterday a project to distribute 5,000 food baskets to the needy families in Marawi City, Republic of the Philippines. The inauguration ceremony was attended by representatives of the local government of Marawi, a number of officials of the Philippine Red Cross, Naif Al-Shehri, representative of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's embassy in the Philippines. The KSrelief has started to distribute 1,000 food baskets to the beneficiary families who expressed their gratitude to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This campaign comes within the framework of support being provided by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, through the Center, to secure and distribute food baskets for the most vulnerable families in Marawi City.
