RIYADH — A source in the National Anti-Corruption Commission (Nazaha) said the agency was investigating a private establishment's suspicious request for 1,450 visas. The commission was contacted by the Ministry of Health about a letter it received from the Ministry of Labor about the establishment. The Ministry of Labor said in its letter that the establishment claimed that it had entered into a contract with the Ministry of Health for the maintenance and operation of a medical facility. The Ministry of Labor had asked for verification from the Ministry of Health. The Ministry of Health said the contract was not legal and that it did not issue a letter to facilitate the granting of visas to the establishment. The Ministry of Health then forwarded the case to Nazaha as it was within their jurisdiction. Investigations confirmed the documents presented by the private establishment were fake and were only with the objective of obtaining visas. The case was referred to the Control and Investigation Board.
