RIYADH — Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman and Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman sent cables of condolences to Kuwait's Emir Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah on the death of Sheikh Nasser Sabah Al-Ahmed Al-Jaber Al-Sabah. In their messages, the King and the Crown Prince expressed their deepest condolences and sincere sympathies for the Al-Sabah family, praying to Allah the Almighty to bestow mercy upon the deceased and grant him the highest abode in Paradise. Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman also sent a separate cable of condolences to his Kuwaiti counterpart Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah. Sheikh Nasser Sabah Al Ahmed Al Sabah, who was the eldest son of the late Emir Sheikh Sabah Al Ahmed Al Sabah, died on Sunday at the age of 72 just 80 days after the death of his father. Sheikh Nasser, who served as the defense minister, was regarded as a staunch visionary, patron of the arts, and a key player in fighting corruption.
