JEDDAH — The General Organization of Saudi Arabian Airlines (Saudia) celebrated the occasion of achieving 100 percent Saudization in the position of copilot in the national carrier. Speaking from the cabin of one of the aircraft, Ibrahim Al-Omar, the director-general of Saudia, said: "Praise be to God, today we celebrated a historic day in the airline's journey that extends for more than 75 years. We have achieved 100 percent localization of all co-pilot jobs." He said the airline wants, God willing, to localize all the jobs of pilots in the near future. "In the name of the organization, I extend my sincere thanks and appreciation of our pilot friends belonging to all nationalities who have contributed with us in the march of this entity," he added.
