In Brasilia, Brazil recorded 10,100 additional confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus in the past 24 hours, and 190 deaths from COVID-19, the Brazilian Health Ministry said on Sunday. Brazil has registered more than 5.5 million cases of the virus since the pandemic began, while the official death toll has risen to 160,074, according to ministry data, Reuters reported. In New Delhi, India recorded 46,963 new coronavirus cases and 470 deaths in the last 24 hours. In Tokyo, Japan reported 124 new cases on Monday, raising the nation's total to 102,192, the Health Ministry and local authorities said. The cumulative death toll stood at 1,779.
