RIYADH — Deputy Chief of General Staff and Commander-designate of the Joint Forces Lt. Gen. Mutlaq Bin Salem Al-Azaima, has met with the field unit commanders, armed forces personnel and coalition forces stationed at the southern border and participating in Operation Decisive Storm and Restoring Hope, Saudi Press Agency (SPA) said Monday. Lt. Gen. Al-Azaima conveyed the greetings of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman, supreme commander of all military forces, and Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman, deputy premier and minister of defense, to the troops. Lt. Gen. Azaima was briefed on the status of military operations and their support by the Joint Forces Command to maintain security and stability of the region. He praised the courageous and heroic stances of the Joint Forces in defending their religion, the King and the homeland, stressing that the prudent leadership is proud of the nation's soldiers and its brave protectors. The soldiers expressed their pride in defending the homeland, stressing that they would remain a fortified shield to protect it until the last moment of their lives.
