RIYADH — Saudi Arabia on Sunday reported 951 new COVID-19 cases, along with 1,129 recoveries. There were 910 COVID-19 cases in the country on Sunday. Twenty-seven deaths were also recorded during the past 24 hours, the health ministry said. This takes the total reported cases in the country to 315,772, and recoveries to 290,796. The death tally has now climbed to 3,897, health ministry spokesman Dr. Muhammad Al-Abdel Ali was quoted by Saudi Press Agency (SPA) as saying. Makkah again topped the list of cities with new cases and reported 76 infections on Monday. There were 65 cases in Jeddah, 48 in Taif, 41 in Hufof, 38 each in Riyadh and Jazan, 35 in Madinah, 27 in Tabuk, 22 in Baesh, 21 each in Dammam, Najran and Samtah and 20 in Sabya. The rest of the cases were scattered in different cities and governorates across the Kingdom, Dr. Al-Abdel Ali said.
