Three more persons died from the coronavirus pandemic in Kuwait during the last 24 hours, while 432 people tested positive for the virus, the ministry of health said on Monday. On Sunday, the country recorded 571 infections. Ministry spokesman Dr. Abdullah Al-Sanad, speaking to KUNA, said total deaths reached 518 and tally of registered cases topped 80,960. He said cases in the health areas were: 150 in Ahmadi, 83 in Farwaniya, 80 in Jahra, 60 in the Capital and 59 in Hawally. Al-Sanad said 99 patients were receiving treatment in the intensive care units, while a total of 7,517 people were receiving medical care. Health care workers conducted 3,056 swab tests in the past 24 hours, said Al-Sanad, raising total tests since outbreak of the virus to 590,623. He urged the public anew to abide by the health preventive measures including physical distancing. The MoH announced earlier today recovery if 618 people to reach 72,925. — Agencies
