The Bahrain Red Crescent Society (BRCS) has announced the appointment of Dr. Nilofer Jahromi as the head of the Society's Young & Youth Committee, in addition to continuing her role as Head of Charity Agricultural Project. Mubarak Al Hadi, Bahrain Red Crescent Society's Director-General/Act General Secretary, praised the excellent voluntary efforts exercised by Dr. Jahromi in BRCS for many years, noting the leadership qualities she possesses that qualifies her to lead the volunteer youth team towards more achievements, wishing for her success in the new assignments. Al Hadi stressed the Society's keenness to provide all necessary support, training, and guidance to volunteers at various leadership levels, noting the volunteers' initiatives in the framework of relief and humanitarian work carried out by the Society inside and outside the Kingdom of Bahrain. For her part, Dr. Jahromi expressed her thanks to the BRCS's management's renewed trust, confirming her eagerness to fully advance her new tasks and active cooperation with the other committees within the spirit of a cooperative team. After her appointment as head of the Young & Youth Committee, Dr. Jahromi held a meeting with the volunteers, members of the committee, during which she unveiled her plan for the committee's work program, current and future activities and initiatives. — SG
