RIYADH — Saudi Arabia reported 4,207 new cases of coronavirus, bringing the total number of infections in the country to 213,716, the ministry of health announced on Monday. In recent days there was a slight rise in the recovery growth curve, by which the recoveries in the Kingdom are higher than the number of infections. There were 4,398 recoveries on Monday, with total recoveries in the Kingdom at 149,634. There are 2,254 cases in intensive care, a health ministry spokesman was quoted by Saudi Press Agency (SPA) as saying.The spokesman also confirmed 52 deaths, bringing the total number of deaths in the Kingdom to 1,968. Qatif topped the list on Monday with 437 new infections. It was followed by Khamis Mushayt where 364 new cases were recorded. There were 330 cases in Riyadh, 293 in Dammam, 279 in Taif, 242 in Hufof, 209 in Jeddah, 171 in Mobarraz, 147 in Makkah, 133 in Najran and 101 in Tabuk. The other cases were detected in cities and provinces across the country, the spokesman said.
