The Real Estate Development Fund (REDF) has deposited SR1 billion and 48 million in citizens' accounts benefiting from Sakani Program (My Housing) from the Ministry of Housing and the Real Estate Development Fund for the current month of April, after setting the support date earlier for the second month in a row within the framework of serving citizens and facilitating their affairs. The Real Estate Development Fund General Supervisor Mansour Bin Madi stated that SR425 million were allocated in support of the profits of the subsidized real estate contracts, while SR530 million were provided to the beneficiaries of the Military Support Initiative, who are in service in all military sectors, and SR93 million for the Civilian Support Initiative beneficiaries. He added that the total amounts deposited by the fund in the accounts of ‘Sakani' beneficiaries since the announcement of the subsidized real estate loan in June 2017 to the current month of April amounted to about SR19.111 billion. Madi also stressed that the Real Estate Fund is committed to continue the procedures that ensure the interests of citizens while working virtually and set a date earlier for depositing housing support for citizens who benefit from real estate financing programs for the second time in a row. The REDF said that the easing was done during the suspension of work in government offices due to the novel coronavirus pandemic crisis, stressing that the continuity of monthly support for ‘Sakani' beneficiaries comes as the Real Estate Fund's priorities. He praised the decisions taken by the government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to limit the spread of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, and its unlimited support for various social and economic fields in the service of citizens. — SPA
