RIYADH — Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman, deputy premier and minister of defense, held talks over phone on Tuesday with French President Emmanuel Macron and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Their talks focused mainly on the economic fallout of coronavirus pandemic at the global level. The Crown Prince stressed the importance of coordinating efforts to combat this epidemic and adopting appropriate policies to alleviate its fallout within the framework of the G20. Saudi Arabia is currently chairing the Presidency of G20, of which France and India are members. During the phone talk, the Crown Prince and Macron discussed the developments taking place in the world in light of the spread of the coronavirus and reviewed its repercussions on the global economy. During the talks between the Crown Prince and Modi, both leaders reviewed the international efforts to combat coronavirus pandemic. The Crown Prince held similar phone talks with Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez on Monday. Both the leaders reviewed the international efforts to combat the deadly virus and prevent its spread.
