RIYADH — The Kingdom has reported 15 new cases of novel coronavirus (COVID-19), Saudi Press Agency (SPA) cited the Ministry of Health as announcing on Sunday. The ministry said the confirmed cases were those of two expatriates, from the Philippines and Indonesia, who were in contact with a previous reported case of infection. They are now quarantined in a Riyadh health facility. The ministry added that there are five cases for citizens who were in contact with previous cases. They are now quarantined in a health facility in Qatif. The ministry said that a case for Spanish resident coming from Spain is confirmed. He is quarantined in a health facility in Al-Khobar. The ministry added that there are two cases of female citizens coming from Spain and the United Kingdom. They are isolated in a health facility in Dhahran. The ministry pointed out that there are two cases — for one male and one female citizen — the first coming from Iran and the second from Iraq. The two cases are quarantined in a health facility in Qatif. The ministry added that a citizen coming from Egypt is quarantined in a health facility in Dammam. It added that there are two cases of citizens coming from the United Kingdom and Switzerland. They are isolated in a health facility in Jeddah. The ministry stated that the number of registered cases of novel coronavirus in the Kingdom has totaled 118, with the recovery of three cases, while the remaining cases are currently isolated in health facilities.
