Sheikh Dr. Mohammad bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa, secretary general of the Muslim World League (MWL) and chairman of the board of directors of the International Organization of Muslim Scholars, delivered a lecture on friendship and brotherhood among the nations and peoples, and reviewed examples represented in the positive relationship between the Islamic world and the Christian world that was recently strengthened through the distinguished relationship between the MWL and the Vatican. Al-Issa spoke at the Italian Catholic University. He said, "MWL will work on a global initiative titled: Promoting friendship and cooperation among nations and peoples.. for more understanding and peaceful world.. and more harmonious and integrated societies." He signed an agreement with Rector of the Italian Catholic University Franco Anelli, on cooperation and partnership between the University and the MWL aiming at developing and improving Arabic language programs and Arab and Islamic cultural research activities. — SPA
