At the end of October 2019, I participated in the journalists visit to Chery held in the Middle East market. In this period, Chery arranged test driving of new launches, factory visit and interview with Chery top executives, helping me better understand the brand, including its probe into design philosophy and strict requirements for product quality. I learned indirectly that Saudi Arabia is one of the important strategic markets of Chery International. In 2020, Chery will make a number of major moves in Saudi Arabia, the most important is recruiting a powerful distributor. Chery's recruiting of a powerful distributor has been confirmed by the insiders in auto industry. They stated that except the Yemni Group, many distributors have shown great interest and visited the China headquarters of Chery. It's reported that recruiting of a distributor is due to the business development needs of Chery in Saudi. Chery, in the year 2020, will be develop in many field, including expanding the marketing network, innovating marketing methods, and improving business capabilities will become the top priority of the year. In the past two months, Chery has launched the pre-sale of Tiggo8, the all-new 7-seater SUV. And then, in December, Chery participated in the 2019 Saudi International Motor Show. Chery officially announced the launch of Tiggo8 in Saudi Arabia, along with the Arrizo6 flagship version. Such intensive marketing activities have further verified that the 2020 strategy of Chery Saudi Arabia is being promoted step by step.
