The International Federation of Equestrian Sports (FEI) announced on Saturday that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia would host the FEI World cup finals in 2024. The FEI named Riyadh as the host city to hold competition in the world dressage and jumping. The FEI's choice of Riyadh is a reconfirmation of the great confidence the Kingdom is enjoying in hosting international sports events, thanks to the great potentials and capabilities it possesses, which have enabled it to compete and win the rights for hosting the International Equestrian Championships in 2024, the General Sports Authority (GSA) said in a press release. On this occasion, GSA chief Prince Abdulaziz Bin Turki Al-Faisal expressed his happiness on the Kingdom being named as the host of this event. In a statement, he said: "The Kingdom's hosting of this international sports event is evidence of the big and limitless support that our sport gets." He added: "The success of all these events and highlighting them the way they ought to be, through appropriate management and organization, is due to success granted by Allah Almighty and the capabilities that the young men and women this dear nation possess." — SPA
