Khaja Banda Nawaz College of Engineering (KBNCE) Gulbarga Alumni Jeddah Chapter felicitated Dr. Ruksar Fatima, dean engineering and technology, Khaja Banda Nawaz University recently here. Chief Guest Dr. Ruksar, who was here to perform Umrah, appreciated the activities carried out by the Alumni here and paid homage to the services of Late Sajjade saheb Syed Shah Mohammed ul Hussaini for empowering women by education. She praised President Syed Khusro Hussaini and Vice President Ali Hussaini for continuing legacy of late Sajjade sahib. She later briefed the Alumni about the future development and action plan of KBN University. President Syed Nasir Khursheed thanked Dr. Ruksar for attending the event and lauded the thought-provoking ideas of the chief guest. He informed all that KBNCE Alumni has now two more chapters, Jubail under Yousuf Shaikh and Yanbu under Mirza Khadeer Baig. He appreciated sponsor Abdul Rahman, general manager Team Infra, for his support. Saif Abdul Rahman and Saba Abdul Rahman delivered a presentation of Team Infra. Saad Abdul Rahman and Saud Abdul Rahman lent support. Syed Mohiuddin Ahmed, general secretary, explained the aims and objectives of the Alumni. He advised alumnus to attend seminars and workshops, which are conducted to upgrade fellow engineers in their respective fields. Presentation on KBN Engineering College Alumni and time management was delivered by P R Coordinator Mohammed Aijazuddin, who highlighted KBNCE Alumni activities. On Time Management, he stressed that Time is Life, therefore having a balance in our personal and professional life is becoming a true challenge in today's environment. "Staying organized can help us maintain a clear picture on what we need to complete and when, by prioritizing and following the 15 minutes rule to plan out daily activities," he added. Coordinator of the Alumni Amjad Ali delivered presentation on Development of an Engineering Career through Communications Skills, as it is the biggest challenge for engineers, but it is also the most important skill to pick up for a successful career. He requested Dr. Ruksar to organize such seminars at KBNCE so that students can develop their skills while calling on seniors' members to employ ‘Each one teach one policy' to develop our society. Vice President Saleh Bin Ali delivered the presentation on the emerging topic Augmented Reality Applications in Architecture, Engineering & Construction. He explained the topic with help of several examples of social media, IT and electronics. Sponsor of the event Abdul Rahman appreciated the Alumni activities carried out to help professionals to upgrade in their respective fields and assured Alumni that he would continue to help in social causes. The chief guest was presented a shawl by the Alumni president and was also felicitated with a memento as a token of appreciation. Abdul Rahman too was presented memento as token of appreciation. Guests from Yanbu and Makkah Abdul Khadeer, Abdul Haseeb, Mohsin Ahmed, Muzzammil, Ashmeer, Aejaz and Mujtaba thanked the members for providing a platform to meet the dean of the university and batchmates. Chief Coordinator Mohammed Yahiya gave the introduction of chief guest while Cultural Secretary Mohammed Tabrez Hussain welcomed the guests and supervised the registration desk. Executive committee member Mohammed Abdul Ameed was the master of ceremony. Live quiz was conducted by Executive Committee member Ibrahim Khaleeluddin. The program started with recitation of verses from the Holy Qur'an by Hafiz Mohammed Zainuddin. Treasurer of the Alumni Abubakr Bin Hussain officially welcomed the guests and recalled unforgettable moments and cherished memories of the college days in his welcome speech.
