AKCC and King Lions win by 1 run in nail-biting ties

RIYADH — AKCC and King Lions XI won thrillers by a margin of just 1 run in the ongoing Westen Union T20 tourney. Western Union T20 is being organized by Riyadh Cricket Association (RCA) and is sponsored by Western Union Money Transfer.
Hayer League: AKCC won a low-scoring thriller beating TBCC by 1 run. AKCC got all out for 114. Sheraz 32 and Naseer 21 showed some resistance. Asif was the pick of the bowlers who claimed 4 wickets while Cherian and Hakeem picked up 2 wickets each. Chasing a low target, TBCC fumbled to 113 thanks to brilliant bowling spell by Abdul Kader who picked up 5 wickets. Shahab took 3 wickets.
King Lions XI beat Bengal Tigers. Lions collected 194/8. Jawel banged 54 and Mamun bashed 53. Musa grabbed 3 wickets. Tigers scored 193 runs in reply. Mithu slogged 57 and Tushar belted 37. Jawel, Jafar and Nasir picked up 2 wickets each. Kallatra resisted with his 39.
Abaseen won against Battagram by 118 runs. Abaseen collated 265/6. Salman batted brilliantly for his 120, Naimat Ullah helped with 39. Atta and Nawab took 2 wickets each. Battagram got all out for 147 in reply. Nawab topscored with 39. Ali picked 3 while Rehmat, Hayat and Fazal got 2 wickets each.
Ar Riyadh Zalmi humbled Saudi Knights. Knights added 176 for 7 wickets. Khurram 45 and Saqib 38 batted well. Qasim and Yasir took 2 wickets each. Zalmi got the target in 17.4 overs losing only 1 wicket. Shabir hammered 86 while Samiullah continued his form with another 53.
Challengers defeated Ashes by 36 runs. Challengers scored 191. Haroon whacked 77, Fahad and Fazil made 39 runs each. Akhil claimed 3 wickets. Ashes scrambled to 155 in reply. Anas topscored with 30. Fahad clinched 4 and Ashik grabbed 2 wickets.
Green Bangla thrashed Dana Trading by 17 runs. Bangla accumulated 239/8. Golam Mustafa played an excellent knock of 121. Waqar snared 3, Anwar sealed 2 wickets. Dana fought hard but managed 222 only. Shahzad hit 79 and Isthiak smashed 73. Zakir and Rayhan claimed 2 wickets each.
Indian Strikers trounced Kashmiri Falcons by 10 wickets. Kashmiri got all out for just 87 thanks to brilliant bowling by Fenil, Mithun and Prasanth who took 4,3 and 2 wickets respectively. Strikers rushed to the target in just 5.1 overs without losing any wicket. Rafeek whacked 48 and Kannan banged 36.
Diriyah League: Khyber Zalmi beat Shinkari United by 92 runs. Khyber scored 183/7 wickets. Haider topscored with 62, Shakir did 24. Skhawat grabbed 3, Inam picked up 2 wickets. Shinkari got all out for 91. Khan resisted with 31. Haider clinched 3, Wali and Waqar sealed 2 wickets each.
Phoenix got better of Kohsar Green. Kohsar piled up 161 for 5. Anjum hit 48 and Mehtab slammed 47. Haseeb snared 3 wickets. Fifties from Subbayal 70 and Adeel 51 took Phoenix to the target in 17.4 overs.
Almarai Cheese pounded Green Stonz. Almarai posted 184 for 9. Amir smacked 78, Raheel scored 28. Pervez and Hassan took 3 wickets each. Stonz smashed 164 runs. Rashid scored 37 and Pervez added 24. Khalid and Amir took 2 wickets each.
Deccan Chargers won against Pakhtoon. Deccan got all out for 154. Mubashir topscored with 61 and Rahel assisted with 31. Muhib, Hameed and Aftab bagged 2 wickets each. Pakhtoon fumbled to 142 runs in reply. Hameed resisted with 33. Rahel and Daniyal picked up 3 wickets each.
Insaf won against Smashers. Fifties from Ilyas 73 and Nadeem 53 helped Insaf to score 219/7. Naveed claimed 3 and Zaeem bagged 2 wickets. Smashers scored 216, falling 3 runs short. Naveed smashed 74, Hamza did 38. Nadeem and Nawaz shared 2 wickets each.
Indian Strikers Blue bashed Tamauz. Strikers collated a massive 289 for 2. Faizullah 82, Sabeer 63 and Rajan 49 played aggressive knocks. Tamauz scored 177 runs in reply. Salman and Rahman scored 59 and 29 runs respectively. Sajo and Nishad claimed 3 wickets.
Kams Indopak won against Riyadh Thunders. Kams collated 198/5. Himayatullah smashed 72 and Asif hit 43. Suleman snared 3 wickets. Thunders fell 9 runs short scoring 189 in reply. Rehan hammered 54 and Imran stroked 44. Himayatullah, Imran and Wahid claimed 2 wickets each.
Shadin Bangla humbled Karachi Kings. Kings accumulated 151 for 8. Zain top scored with 34. Naeem grabbed 3 wickets. Shadin succeeded in 16.3 overs losing 2 wickets. Zarshad slogged 86 and Mosabbir belted 37.
