The Eastern Province Cricket Association (EPCA) honored the captains participating in season 2019-20 in a ceremony held in Taya Restaurant here. Dignitaries, sponsors, guests and members of EPCA clubs attended. EPCA General Secretary Abulhasan started the proceedings by reciting the verses from Holy Qur'an and then welcomed the guests. President Farhat Mehmood, while welcoming sponsors, members and guests, reviewed the association's activities and commended the efforts of executive committee for the season 2018-19. He thanked all the sponsors for their support and underlined their continuous support. Mudassir (EPCA Development Manager) promise to get more sponsors for youth development, Shahid (EPCA Umpire's Head) announced a umpiring panel in Saudi Arabia. General Sectary Imtiyaz Meekar explained rule book changes for the season 2019-20, Abedi (Treasury) explained the ground maintenance expenses. Shafqat (Stats Manager) explained to the captains about scoresheets and how to fill it in a proper way. Umer Lodhi (Media & Tournament Manager) announced the tournament format and explained the importance of media to the captains. Later, all the captains had fruitful discussion with all EPCA ex-com and all were excited about the season. President Farhat explained the details of SCC meeting to all the captains including all the new SCC committees. — SG
