Syeda Amtul Saudi Gazette JEDDAH — The “Bazm-e-Ittihad Jeddah Committee,” an Indian welfare organization, was dissolved last month for reasons unknown. Recently a new body of members on adhoc basis was formed at the residence of President Bazm-e-Ittihad Ahmeduddin Owaisi in Madinah. The newly-formed committee will focus on issues related to youth, and social, educational and welfare activities through social media and other digital technology. They will also keep an eye on the dispersion of false propaganda against all India Majlis e Ittehad Ul Muslimeen (AIMIM) and justify them by means of truth. One of the committee's main agenda is to portray the image of Barrister Asaduddin Owaisi as the only able Muslim and Dalit communities political leader in India. Dr. Syed Ali Mahmood, chief patron of the Bazm-e-Ittihad, said: “Bazm-e-Ittihad would like it to be recognized on the international front as an organization that aims to create love, unity and strength between all countries and humanity.” The new committee comprises Vice-President Mohammad Ubaidur Rehman, General Secretary Mohammad Abdul Qayyum, Joint-Secretary Syed Khaja Viqaruddin, VP Finance Mohammad Abdul Qayyum, Treasurer Mahmood Balsharaf and Media Secretary Asrar Siddiqui, and ex-vice presidents Mazher Ali Baig and Hasan Bayazeed Ather are now part of the advisory board. Other members of the committee are Mohammad Yousufuddin Amjad, Farooq Ahmed, Mohammad Obaid Bajhao, Dr. Sayeed Haroon, Azmath Imran, M.A. Nadeem, Mohammad Muzaffar, Mohammad Ali Nayyer, Mohammad Iftekhar, Syed Ashfaq Mohiuddin, Mirza Qudrath Baig, M.N. Qureshi and Mohammad Naseeruddin. Subcommittees formed under the parent body Bazm-e-Ittihad were “Salar-e-Millat Annual Mushaira,” media watch, website development, education and public relations. “We have added all previous members with their own aspiration and it shows our great union and harmony. Our motto is to create unity, love and peace among all people so they live happily in this world of Allah,” said Mahmood.
