RIYADH — The female staff at the Ministry of Justice (MoJ) have served about 160,000 clients by providing nearly 380,000 services in seven months, according to latest statistics by the ministry. "Our female employees extend services at notarial offices and all types of courts: family, general, criminal, enforcement, commercial, and labor," noted the MoJ. "They work in various fields, including information, management of statements of claim and appointments, mediation and family counseling, handling complaints, and tech departments," the ministry added. According to the ministry's statistics, Riyadh region tops the list with 71,178 served clients; followed by Jeddah with 46,076; Makkah with 16,572; Dammam'with 16,004; and Madinah with 8,034. A report last week said the female staff at Jeddah Criminal Court provided over 7,000 services to clients in 2 months. The work included checking documents, verifying applications, making referrals and responding to inquiries. According to the MoJ statistics, the female staff helped more than 2,500 clients, extended more than 3,200 information services, and reviewed over 1,350 applications. The ministry, of late, has been focusing on creating more job opportunities for women.
