Jeeny, the first ride hailing application in Saudi Arabia, has partnered with Saudi Food Bank Eta'am, a non-profit organization that aims to locate and register people in need for support within the kingdom to provide food collected from surplus by restaurants, families and individuals. "We are honored to do our part in giving back to society alongside Eta'am. This will definitely help us achieve better results in helping now that we have a partner whose specialty in identifying those who are truly in need within the kingdom," said Eugen Brikcius, Jeeny Managing Director. The partnership between Jeeny & Eta'am aims to deliver Udhia donations from users around the kingdom to the people in need during Eid Al Adha, as during the festive holidays, Jeeny will be releasing a new service on its app through which users can request drivers to take away the donation portion of Udhia and deliver it to Eta'am distribution centers, which on its turn delivers it to the deserving families. "Our main vision in the Kingdom is to reach a societal status with minimum waste of food, which is of course a blessing from God that we should praise and be thankful for. With all of our efforts in the past years, a lot of families are still in need, and the only way to help as much as possible is by joining hands with more volunteers and even corporates like Jeeny. We are glad to see companies doing the right thing with us." said Abdulrahman Al-huzaimi, CEO Eta'am Riyadh. The main locations for donations will take place in Riyadh, Jeddah and Dammam where both parties have their strongest presence and operations. — SG
